The Center for Educational Policy Studies Journal is an international open-access peer-reviewed journal with an international board. It publishes original empirical and theoretical studies from a wide variety of academic disciplines related to the field of Teacher Education and Educational Sciences; in particular, it supports comparative studies in the field.

The journal focuses on the following areas: teaching, learning, education, social pedagogy, special and rehabilitation pedagogy, preschool pedagogy, education policies, supervision, teaching Slovenian and foreign languages and literature, teaching mathematics, computer science, science and technology, teaching social sciences and humanities, arts teaching, higher education and adult education. Particular emphasis is placed on teacher education and promoting their professional development. Regional context is stressed but the journal remains open to researchers and contributors across all European countries and worldwide.

Four issues per year are published; in March, June, September and December. All issues are in English. Issues are focused on specific areas but there is also space for non-focused articles (VARIA) and book reviews.
